A city located in Gautam Buddh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh – Greater Noida has its charm in its schematic and masterly planned town. While preserving the greeneries all around, the city has developed and urbanized to the fullest in very short span of time. Reducing the demographic burden of the capital city, it was in early1990s when the government took a step further and brought this beautiful city into existence.

Greater Noida is an extension to Noida. The city, today, is effectively managed by Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) and is under the process of further development. Unlike Noida, Greater Noida’s places and localities are divided and distinguished as Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Pi Sigma, and so on. By 2021, around 26 similar localities are expected to be established – as per master plan 2021.
Yamuna Expressway is one of the best examples of the development of the city. Indeed, the most successful project carried recently. This longest 6-lane, the controlled-access expressway is 165 km long and connects Greater Noida with Agra.

Taj International Airport project nod is, yet, another big step taken towards the urbanization of Greater Noida. Around 55 acres is planned to acquire for expansion of Agra Airforce Station into the new venture. The project got its approval in August 2016 and is planned to be built near Hirangaon, Jewar and will be at a distance of about 72km from Indira Gandhi International Airport at Delhi.

Covering the sports sectors, the famous Greater Noida Sports Complex or Shahid Vijay Singh Pathik Sport Complex is one of the biggest achievements for the city. Established in 2013, the stadium is constructed according to the norms and specifications as decided by ICC. It associates basic and fundamental niceties such as media and corporate boxes, merchandise store, food-court, medical facilities, inquiry kiosk and many more.

Golf Course Jaypee Greens, on the other side, is among some of its marvelous creations covering the area of around 452 acres. A small paradise in Greater Noida – the Golf Course gives mesmerizing view with the presence of green belt and three water bodies around. With facilities like resorts, spa, and wellness, hotels, 18-hole huge golf ground – the Golf Course in Greater Noida gives exotic experience to the golf-players.

Certain places of interest in Great Noida are to win the heart – Ansal Plaza, MSX Mall, Alpha Square Mall, Buddh International Circuit, Samrat Mihir Bhoj City Park, and YMCA Greater Noida Programme Centre (GNPC), and India Expo Mart & Centre – Exhibition Ground.

Buddh International Circuit – site for annual Formula One Indian Grand Prix – is the sole racing’s governing body in India and is, fortunately, the part of Greater Noida. Situated at a distance of 40km from the capital, the motor racing circuit boasts the capacity of 1,20,00 audiences. Spread across 2,500 acres of land; it is the part of famous Jaypee Greens Sports City.

The intelligent city has also become the perfect destination to certain famous and reputed educational institutes and universities like United College of Engineering and Research, Amity University, Gautam Buddha University, Noida International University, Greater Noida Medical University, Galgotias University, and Shiv Nadar University.

It had been destined as the center for 12th and 14th Auto Expos – The Motor Show, in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

Currently, the city is home to around 2,00,000 dwellers. Life is made quite easy and sustaining due to back-to-back erections and presence of various infrastructures. The small city brags about everything that one may require to live a happy life in Greater Noida. Famous malls, reputed schools, shopping destinations, public transport facilities, healthcare services, and so on – the city is updated with each sector.

Located at the crossing of Western and Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridors, the city is the doorway to Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). Where one of its adjacent sides is covered by Noida (at a distance of around 25 km) – one of Asia’s largest township, the other adjacent side is surrounded by the capital city of India – Delhi.
